Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Samsung BD-P1400 1080p Blu-Ray Disc PlayerCustomer Review: Major ripoff, full of bugs, not upgradable Summary: 1 StarsThis is one of the worst Blu-ray players on the market.
-It can take up to 60 seconds to eject a disc
-It rarely plays back a disc without problems, this includes DVDs that play fine on my Mac Mini
-Video quality is fine, but not worth the $
All-in-all I am very disappointed with the quality of this BR player. I wish I had either waited a couple years for the technology to mature or bought something that didn't suck.
This player is so bad we canceled our NetFlix Blu-ray membership and switched back to regular DVDs. In reality you can't tell much of a difference unless you look at the pictures side by side (which you can only do in the store).
